Tom Robbins - Even Cowgirls get the Blues
Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1976. First edition, second printing. Hardcover. 8vo. 365 pp. 1/2 white cloth binding. Disgusting condition. A very dirty copy, presumably from the Alcatraz prison library and although there is evidence of eager page-turning by thousands of grimy thumbs it may also have been used to paddle a dinghy through a sewer tunnel by escapees or simply used as toilet paper. Either way, you'll want this one and when you see the envious scowl on your book friends' faces as they have a gander at this beauty you won't be feeling blue at all. And besides, the dust jacket is very nice.
